Stockist Feature: Kricket
Next in our Stockist Feature series is Kricket. They have several successful locations across London. Starting off as a shipping container in Brixton back in 2015 they then landed their first brick and mortar location in March 2017 when they secured their newest venue in Soho.
Last month we visited their Central London restaurant. Just a stone’s throw from Piccadilly circus they have chosen a great location. The Interior boasts exposed brickwork and an industrial theme. The restaurant is spread over two floors. The ground floor is a wonderfully set out open plan kitchen with a bar where customers can sit and eat their food while watching the food being cooked by Krickets highly skilled chefs. They serve flavours of Mumbai in small tapas like plates all of which are carefully thought out and complimented by their cocktails.
Kricket is a restaurant that didn’t directly associate with specialty coffee but needed a solution that fitted in with their service. They chose to go with our 100% arabica PRO capsules. This solution is space efficient and cost effective due to not needing to use any grinder whilst being packed with more coffee than a traditional nespresso pod and this worked amazingly well in their restaurants.
These pods can be used on a traditional espresso machine using a portafilter basket specifically designed for the pod or a compatible machine which means if you’ve already got an espresso machine and want an easy to use, low mess solution these pods are an amazing option.
Visiting any Kricket location is a must if you haven’t already tried their small plates or cocktails. You’ll be sure to visit again and have a massive urge to bring friends and family.
